Felix gets hives every summer. This summer I have really controlled them by giving 12 Benedryl per day (or as many days as of the week I can get to him). It is super cheap at Costco. I also give him apple cider vinegar and Bugzzo in his food. Luckily, he is like a frat boy...will eat and drink anything.

DeleteThere is a horse at my barn who gets hives so bad, he needs shots (literally every inch of him gets covered poor baby! Hope Holly feels better soon!
ReplyDeleteEek, luckily she's not that bad, she does get huge ones if they go untreated but she's really not too bothered by them.
